I have always had a love of drawing and art since I was young. Pastels are
my favourite medium and I am a member of the Pastel Society of Australia which is a great society to belong to.
Landscapes and Seascapes are my usual subjects but figures,
florals and still life are also high on my list of things I love to paint.

The beauty and serenity of creation is what draws me to paint. I try with all
of my paintings to get the feel of the moment whether that is the warmth of
the light, the velvet feel of a petal or the fold of a cloth. I love the beach, the
movement of the waves and the play of light on the sand. Having lived on
the Sunshine Coast for a long time the local coast and hinterland
are common themes in my artwork.

My artwork has been sold and hangs in both private and corporate collections. I have
completed many commissions in both pastel and acrylic and welcome enquiries.
I hold workshops in Beginners Pastel through Art Supplies Noosa and also run Pastel Classes at the SCAG artmooms in Buderim on Wednesday afternoons.

I Belong to the Seaview Artist Gallery at Moffat Beach and am on duty twice a month so feel free to drop in and say hello next time you are on the Sunshine Coast.
I am also a member of Kalaji Arts which is a new art group of 6 proffessional artists that holds exhibitions and workshops throughout Queensland.
